The Olympic View Community Foundation (OVCF) is a non-profit Washington corporation located in Sequim. The Foundation, through the generosity of the Phillips Fund and The Seattle Foundation, was able to hire, Sue Ellen Riesau, our first paid Executive Director as well as opening and maintaining an office at 720 E Washington Street, Suite 111 in Sequim.

Our mission is to improve our community by connecting people who care with causes that matter. Please take a moment to read about our accomplishments. We hope you will conclude that we are honest to our mission and to improving the quality of life in the Sequim Dungeness Valley and greater Clallam County.

Improving Our Community

OVCF was formed as an outgrowth of the accomplishments of Sequim 2000, a committee of volunteers formed in 1995 through The Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce. The original purpose of the group was to raise funds to support the beautification of Sequim, which was undergoing a downtown renaissance triggered by the completion of the Highway 101 bypass in 1999.

Olympic View Community Foundation provides strategic grants to many local area non-profits through the Sound Community Bank “Helping Non-Profits” MasterCard Program. We’re proud to report that since 2000, this partnership has enabled OVCF to return more than $350,000 to our community.
