Benjamin N Phillips Memorial Fund 2024 grant cycle announced

Olympic View Community Foundation and Seattle Foundation are pleased to announce that the 2024 grant cycle of the Benjamin N Phillips Memorial Fund opens Monday, April 15.

Again this year, funding requests follow a two-step application process. The first step in seeking grant support is through the submission of a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through the Seattle Foundation online grant portal describing your project and request. The second step is the submission of a full grant application. A local Advisory Committee reviews the LOIs and determines which organizations will be invited to submit full applications. Organizations selected to submit grant applications are notified in mid-June.

Interested organizations may access the Letter of Inquiry template provided on the Seattle Foundation website (see link below).

Letters of inquiry for this year’s grantmaking cycle are due by May 15.

To submit an LOI for this year’s grantmaking cycle, please visit the grants portal: https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=seattle

Organizations will be notified by mid-June, if invited to submit a full application. The deadline for submitting applications this year is July 12. Questions should be addressed to Jessica Elliott, OVCF director, at programdirector@ov-cf.org

The Benjamin N. Phillips Memorial Fund awards grants annually to a broad range of charitable organizations serving Clallam County. The fund is a legacy gift of Benjamin Phillips, a prominent Clallam County resident and businessperson.
