SEQUIM, WA— The Olympic View Community Foundation (OVCF) is proud to announce the distribution of $36,275 in scholarship awards to support Clallam County students pursuing higher education and vocational training. This year’s recipients are entering a diverse range of fields, including healthcare, engineering, culinary arts, education, and the trades.
Funding was made possible through the generous contributions of several dedicated scholarship sources:
- The Whitmore Scholarship ($6,000 awarded) – Supporting students entering trades such as welding, kinesiology, and automotive mechanics.
- The Sequim Prairie Nights Scholarship ($2,000 awarded) – Assisting students pursuing careers in construction-related fields, including carpentry and electrical work.
- The Sindars Scholarship ($5,000 awarded) – Helping students advance in culinary arts and vocational studies.
- The D.W. Morse Scholarship ($19,275 awarded) – Awarding students in healthcare, nursing, and financial advising programs.
- The Ruddell Scholarship ($4,000 awarded) – Benefiting students studying education, psychology, aerospace engineering, and the performing arts.
